On Aug 8，a team of 212 medical workers left Changzhou for Yangzhou to support its efforts to control the COVID-19 epidemic.

The team consists of 200 staff responsible for nucleic acid testing and 12 experts on epidemic control. They come from 30 medical institutions, and some were members of the medical team dispatched by Changzhou to aid the coronavirus control efforts in Hubei Province last year. Most of the members have abundant experience working in isolation wards and fever clinics.

“Once in Yangzhou, we will carry out work effectively, contributing our part to the epidemic control.”Says Di Jia from Changzhou No. 1 Hospital, who is the leader of the medical team.

As of date, a total of 512 medical workers in Changzhou have aided the COVID-19 control work in Nanjing and Yangzhou.
