During the "Twelfth Five-Year" period, Changzhou plans to promote 50 major cultural industry projects, and 36 of them involve the total investment of over 100 million yuan, and 20 of them exceed one billion yuan. After years of development, the animation has become a pillar industry of the city’s cultural industries. Integrating the animation industry base, the software park and China Dinosaur Park, Changzhou Creative Industry Base has gathered more than 400 businesses, including 2 national key animation businesses and 3 state key animation products. The sales revenue exceeded 10 billion yuan in 2010.
