On July 5, Pelliconi Group from Ozzano, Bologna, Italy, officially signed with Xinbei district to launch its high-end packaging materials project in Xuejia town of Xinbei. 

Pelliconi produces 30 billion caps a year and is the world-leading manufacturer of crown corks, metal, and plastic caps for the bottling industry. Its global network of sales and distribution counts on four foreign subsidiaries, making the group the largest producer and exporter of crown corks.

Pelliconi established its first Chinese production plant in Suzhou in 2016. 

The investment in Changzhou - valued at approximately 13 million US dollars - is Pelliconi’s second manufacturing facility in China. 

The Changzhou facility, dedicated to producing low-carbon, environment-friendly packaging materials, will have an annual output of 110 million yuan within three years after putting into operation.
