On the evening of June 6, deputy mayor Chen Zhengchun met with the delegation of Bergstrom Inc. headed by president and CEO Jack Shafferat.

Chen Zhengchun introduced the current development of foreign-funded enterprises in Changzhou and the policies and practices for attracting high-end talents. Jack Shafferat expressed his gratitude to the local governments at all levels for their long-term care and support for Bergstrom and exchanged views with Chen on how to further develop Bergstrom's subsidiary in Changzhou under the new situation.

Bergstrom’s world headquarters is located in Rockford, Illinois. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of friendship-city relationship between Changzhou and Rockford. In 1998, Bergstrom established its wholly-owned subsidiary in Changzhou and actively promoted the establishment of friendship-city relationship between Changzhou and Rockford. For many years, Bergstrom Changzhou has been operating well and making positive contributions to the friendship between the two cities.
