Up to now, the number of small loan companies in Changzhou has reached 35, of which 32 are serving rural areas and three are in the field of scienc and technology. Last year, Changzhou had five more small loan companies, including four rural small loan companies and one sci-tech small loan companies.

    According to the statistics, in 2012, the small loan companies played an active role in the city’s rural credit and SME financing and accumulatively issued more than 10,000 loans, amounting to 37.397 billion yuan, including 34.822 billion yuan by the rural small loan companies and 2.575 billion yuan by the sci-tech small loan companies.
