On August 21, the commencement ceremony of Changzhou Trina Solar International School was opened in Xinbei District.

The newly established Trina Solar International School is a non-profit private school jointly invested by Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd. and some social institutions. The school has a total investment of RMB 20.4 billion and covers an area of 30,000 square meters, which will be able to enroll 750 students after its completion. It is aimed to integrate the best resources from preschool to high school education, build a high-quality faculty team with foreign teachers as the main members and set up international courses and facilities in accordance with the international standards, so as to provide high quality international education services for the children of expatriates and those outstanding local students in Changzhou and the peripheral areas.
