It is learned from the Changzhou Public Transportation Group that Changzhou will construct 70 bus shelters in elevated inner ring, which are expected to be completed in October.

This bus shelter construction project was listed in the municipal public welfare project list at the beginning of the year. In order to improve local people’s bus-waiting conditions and travel experience, the Changzhou Public Transportation Group has conducted a thorough survey. The result shows that 70 bus stops within the elevated inner ring are suitable for bus shelter installations (excluding Wujin District), among which 43 are in Tianning District, 20 in Zhonglou District, and 7 in Xinbei District. Most of them are mainly located along Laodong Road, Guanghua Road and Jinling Road.

The overall length of the bus shelters is about 5-7 meters each. With stainless steel structure and aluminum material roof, the shelters are quite corrosion-resistant. In addition, more energy-efficient LED lamps are used. And the bus shelters are designed to be user-friendly and easy to disassemble and remove.
