On the morning of November 25, TaizhouYangtze RiverBridgewas formally opened to traffic. By now, eight cities along the Yangtze River inJiangsuprovince have had their own bridges.

    Taizhou Yangtze RiverBridge started construction in December 2007 and contains north connection road, main bridge and south connection road. It is 62 kilometers in length and involves a total investment of RMB 9.37 billion. Now, it only needs 85 minutes to come fromChangzhouto Taizhou. The operation of this bridge is important to improveChangzhou’s transportation and promote the regional economic development.
