It was learned on March 16 that Maoshan, just upgraded to provincial tourism resort, has initiated eight development projects with a total investment of 12.54 billion yuan.

    Focusing on the theme of ‘Taoist health preservation, vacation and leisure, and eco-tourism,’ Jintan in recent years has reconstructed Qianyuan Temple, Chongshou Temple, Yuanyang Temple and other ancient Taoist temples. Meanwhile, the overall planning of the 108 square kilometers of Maoshan has started, specially featuring Taoism, natural landscape (hot spring), tea culture and the educated youth culture. With more efforts on investment attraction, the Maoshan resort has introduced Baosheng Park, Ziyun Lake, Oriental Salt Lake City, Golden Haven Country Club and other recreational tourism projects.
