Recently, it was learned from the Wujin District Bureau of Commerce that in 2014 Wujin achieved registered foreign capital of $ 1.39 billion with paid-in amount of $ 905 million, ranking the first in Changzhou. In addition, its annual import and export volume totaled more than $ 10 billion, accounting for 34.7 percent of the city.

Last year, Wujin successfully introduced six major projects each with an investment of over $100 million, including China Flavors and Fragrances, Chuanghui Medical Equipment, and so on. VCs like Jiangsu Shunfeng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., United PV (Changzhou) Limited, etc. have constantly increased investment. Large import and export companies such as Zenith Steel, Lite-On Technology, AAC Optoelectronics, etc. maintain a good momentum of growth.

In 2015, Wujin will further enhance the quality of foreign investment, and strive to achieve breakthroughs in attracting investment in major projects, service industries and high-tech businesses.
