A business suspension of Luqiao Market will take place from 18:00, August 16th, for a fire risk overhaul campaign, which is estimated to last for 4 months.

Changzhou Luqiao Market, located in No. 8 Xiao He Yan, was put into use in 2001. Although many times of fire control inspections and rectifications have been carried out ever since, there are still some serious fire hazards and risks because of the big size of building, large amount of combustible goods and huge flow of people. To ultimately eliminate the fire hazards, Luqiao Market is going to suspend business for fire risk overhaul starting from August 16th and will be reopened on January 1st, 2014.
