On the morning of October 17, a medical logistics program of Jiangzhong Yabang Group broke ground in the West Taihu Lake Sci-Tech Industrial Park. The program will function as a regional headquarter for the medical group, offering medicine delivery and billing service to the Yangtze River Delta region and Changzhou in particular.

With an investment of RMB 375 million, the program will set up multi-layer logistics warehouses, an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS), and other supporting facilities. Upon completion in 2024, the base will have a floor area of 45,000 m². With support from ICT networks, the program will develop a comprehensive logistics park, integrating storage, sorting-out, packaging, and delivering, to serve pharmacies and hospitals in Jiangsu and neighbouring provinces. The sales revenue in the first three years is expected to reach 2 billion yuan.
