On August 13th, a five-member delegation of the Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai headed by Consul General Mr. Jan Wahlberg visited Changzhou. Deputy Mayor Fang Guoqiang met with the delegates in the Administration Center.

During the meeting, Fang briefed the guests on the city's economic and social situation, and highlighted the demonstration area of green building industrial cluster in Wujin and the progress of the Sino-Finnish Green Technology Industrial Park, hoping to seek the support of the Finnish Ministry of Employment and the Economy Employment Service and the Ministry of the Environment, so as to build the Sino-Finnish project in Changzhou into a national model in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China.

Wahlberg spoke highly of the the Sino-Finnish Green Technology Industrial Park, and stated that the Finnish Consulate General in Shanghai will pay much attention to the park's development and will introduce more Finnish enterprises to invest in Changzhou.
