In late June, the city’s first underground tunnel (Longcheng Boulevard Tunnel) project that connects the west and east elevated roads will be started officially. It is reported that the project is expected to be completed before the Flower Expo held in September 2013. After completion of the tunnel, the Longjiang Viaduct in the west and Qingyang Viaduct in the east will be connected, and the whole viaduct of more than 50 km will finally be completed as a closed ring.
