Recently, it was informed that Jintan Port, the largest inland port in Changzhou, will be opened in August of this year.

Jintan Port is located in Jintan, which is the hub of water and land transport. The construction started in December 2013, with a total investment of 467.486 million yuan. The port contains two 102-meter-wide built-in basins and 15 berths, including two 1,000-ton general cargo berths, three 500-ton general cargo berths, two 1000-ton bulk cargo berths, five 2 500-ton bulk cargo berths and three 1,000-ton multi-purpose berths. The designed annual capacity of the port is 5.62 million tons.
