On August 11, a special traffic opening ceremony was held in Wuqia County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang. Taking one year and a half, “Tianhe Road” supported by Trina Solar formally opens to traffic. The leaders and guests of Changzhou municipal government, Wuqia county government, China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, and Trina Solar Corporation attended the ceremony.
　　Wuqia county is located in the western border of China, with the population of less than 60,000. Due to the sparse population and inaccessible transportation, Wuqia maintains slow economic development. The building of Tianhe Road is one part of Jiangsu’s aid project in Xinjiang. In 2011, under the call of the Changzhou municipal government, Trina Solar actively fulfill their social responsibility and lend a helping hand to the people of Wuqia county for supporting the construction of Tianhe Road.
