The Sixth Plum Festival of Changzhou was opened on March 2nd and will last till March 17th in the Hongmei Park. 

    The Plum Festival contains five activities respectively displaying the themes of Appreciating Plum, Plum Knowledge Contest, Plum Paintings, Plum Planting, and Plum Poems. Coupling with the upcoming Flower Expo, this Festival, holding the slogan of ‘Welcoming Flower Expo & Appreciating Plum,’ specially organized about 20 cultural activities including photography exhibition, blessing ceremony, memorial planting activity, etc.  

    This year, 300 plum trees have been newly planted, and the Hongmei Park now has a total of 1,500 plum trees.
