Changzhou’s first electronic toll collection (ETC) system for ships to pass quickly has been installed at a navigation lock on the Zaogang River in Xinbei district and started its trial run recently.

Starting from January 1, ship owners can register information and make payments via the app “Zaogang ETC.” The system saves more than 20 minutes of waiting time for ships, and crew members no longer need to get off the ship to register information onshore.
