It was learnt on August 3 that a molecular laboratory has been established in Changzhou. Launched by the No. 1 People’s Hospital, the lab was put into service on July 22. 　

With 18 staff, it is capable of testing 30,000 samples per day. In the event of large-scale nucleic acid testing due to the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic, the lab is able to obtain the testing results of 300,000 people within the required time.
