Liyang is planning to build Jiangsu Tianmuhu General Aviation Airport in the Beishan Industrial Park, Bieqiao Town.
　　General aviation (GA) refers to all flights other than military, police, customs anti-smuggling, and public transport flights.GA covers a large range of activities, both commercial and non-commercial, including those engaged in industry, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, mining, construction, health care, disaster relief, meteorological service, ocean monitoring, scientific experiments, remote sensing, mapping, culture, sports, tourism, etc.
　　Upon completion of the airport, visitors can take a plane in Liyang and view from the air the beautiful landscape of Liyang and even of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. The same time, the airport will provide tourism services in peripheral areas. By then, Liyang will become a hub for air travel.
