Recently, the "Golden Dinosaur Award” for original animation works, the main event of the Ninth China (Changzhou) International Animation Art Festival 2012, has finished the initial evaluation in Beijing. This year’s "Golden Dinosaur Award” is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, organized by Changzhou Dinosaur Park Co., Ltd. and specially co-hosted by the Cartoon Commission of China TV Artists Association and the Animation Weekly.
　　After a week of the initial evaluation, 140 works entered the finalists among more than 2000 entries, including 100 domestic works and 40 international entries from Korea, France, the United States, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Russia, the Czech Republic, etc.
　　The winning entries will be announced on August 16.
