Forty-eight COVID-19 patients, including 16 mild cases and 32 asymptomatic carriers, were discharged from the designated hospital in Changzhou, on March 28 after recovery.

This is the first group of patients released since cluster infections of the virus occurred in the city earlier this month.

All locally transmitted cases of COVID-19 have been admitted to the city's designated hospital for treatment following the Diagnosis and Treatment Protocol for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (Trial Version 9). Currently, all patients are in stable condition.
