During the National Day holiday, Changzhou Metro Line 1 has become a popular ‘must-go place’ of citizens. According to the statistics of Changzhou Rail Transit Development Co., Ltd., from October 1st to 15:00 on the 7th, the passenger flow of Metro Line 1 has exceeded 1.2 million. The peak day for Metro travel was on October 2nd, with the passenger flow reaching 243,000.

In order to meet the travel needs of the citizens during the holiday, Changzhou Metro extended the operating times, increased peak frequencies and shortened train intervals, providing quality and comprehensive services while maintaining travel safety.

Data showed that the stations of Global Harbor, Changzhou Railway Station and Forest Park experienced the highest level of pedestrian density during the holiday.

To improve efficiency and customer experience, the Global Harbor Station added service of manual collection of one-way tickets, increased the number of manual ticketing spots and installed POS terminals for mobile payment. In addition, the station organized 15 volunteers to provide passengers with various services.
