On December 30th, it was learned from the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau that Dr. Yang Yonggang, general manager of Zhongjian Science and Technology Co., Ltd., was elected as one of China’s Distinguished Figures in Science 2016.

In 2008, Dr. Yang Yonggang settled in Changzhou High-tech District with a technical team and the T700 carbon fiber preparation technology, and founded Zhongjian Science and Technology Co., Ltd. Here in Changzhou. The company undertakes the high-performance carbon fiber project of the National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program) of the Ministry of Science and Technology. After thousands of trial and error, Dr. Yang’s team has mastered the key technology of core equipment production and broke the overseas monopoly in high-performance carbon fiber technology.

It is informed that the evaluation of China’s Distinguished Figures in Science 2016, organized by the China Science Daily and other institutions has been held for seven consecutive years.
