On the morning of March 27, Bombardier (Canada) and New United Group (Changzhou) signed the cooperation agreement on establishing a joint venture of signaling system. Fei Gaoyun, mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, Han Jiuyun, member of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC, and Xu Xinmin, Deputy Secretary-General of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, were present at the signing ceremony.

The new joint venture will be mainly engaged in rail transportation, communications, signals and comprehensive monitoring, etc. It will introduce and transfer the latest technologies of subway signaling systems with moving block, and carry out independent design, manufacturing and sales in certain areas. The corporate is expected to become a leader in the industry of railway signaling system in China.

The launch of the new project opens a new chapter of the cooperation between Bombardier and New United, and it will further promote the progress of industrial chain of rail transportation in Changzhou, said Fei. Fei also stated that Changzhou is speeding up the construction of the Aviation Industrial Park, which will bring about more opportunities in the aviation industry, and since Bombardier has strong capabilities in aviation industry, the cooperation between Bombardier and New United will be able to introduce more projects into Changzhou for China is positively supporting the development of aviation industry. Meanwhile, the local Party committees and governments will continue to provide preferential services and a good environment for enterprise development.
