On November 6, the unveiling ceremony for Eaton’s Global Engineering Center and Technology Center of Explosion-Proof Electrical Business , with a total investment of approximately 18 million yuan, was held in Changzhou National High-tech District (CND).

Eaton’s electrical business is a global leader with expertise in power distribution and circuit protection, backup power protection, control and automation, lighting and security, structural solutions and wiring devices, solutions for harsh and hazardous environments, and engineering services. Eaton is positioned through its global solutions to answer today’s most critical electrical power management challenges.

Cooper Electric (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eaton, was established in the CND in 2010. As one of the key production centers of Eaton’s electrical business, the company has continued to receive investments from Eaton in recent years. The newly established Global Engineering Center will be able to provide world-class reliability testing services, including impact tests, dielectric tests, waterproof and dustproof tests; while the Technology Center will display the full range of Eaton’s explosion-proof electrical products and applications.
