The signing ceremony for JEL Corporation’s Research and Manufacturing Base Project took place on December 18, solidifying its presence in the Changzhou Economic Development Zone. This marks Changzhou's first new Japanese investment this year and represents JEL’s inaugural manufacturing base project in China.

JEL is headquartered in Fukuyama city, Hiroshima prefecture, Japan. Since its foundation in 1993, JEL has emerged as a leading manufacturer of clean robots for semiconductors and FPD glass substrates. Its products have diverse applications in high-end precision industries, including semiconductor equipment and medical devices.

For this project, JEL will rent approximately 3,000 square meters of factory space in the Changzhou Economic Development Zone. After the commencement of production, annual sales are expected to exceed 500 million yuan. In the subsequent phase, the company plans to purchase land for the construction of self-owned factories and establish a research and development center.
