On the morning of February 4, the Jiangsu Beixing Polymer Composite Materials Project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan was inaugurated in Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science Park.

It is learned that the project takes an area of 140,000 square meters, planning to set up 12 lithium battery separator production lines and 20 diaphragm coating production lines. The project mainly adopts Japanese diaphragm production technology to supply polymer composite membrane material for high-power energy storage and lithium batteries for electric vehicles. It is expected to be completed and put into operation in March 2019, with an estimated annual production capacity of 1.2 billion square meters of lithium battery diaphragm and annual sales income of up to 7.2 billion yuan.
