On June 22nd, the list of Top 500 Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2015 was released by the World Brand Laboratory (WBL) in Beijing. Changchai’s brand value is rated as 4.372 billion yuan, an increase of 15.8% and a net increase of 597 million yuan, ranking No. 406. Changchai is the only brand in Changzhou that has been selected into the list for 12 consecutive years.
The WBL is recognized as one of the top three global brand valuation agencies, which is chaired by Robert Mundell, a Nobel Prize winner in Economics and a professor of Economics at Columbia University in New York. It has been publishing the list annually since 2004 based on analysis of a company’s financial performance, consumer behavior and brand impact.
