Recently, the detailed plan of the first phase of Metro Line 1 has entered the publicity period, which is available on the official website of Changzhou Municipal Bureau of City Planning.
It is learned that the total track length of the first phase is about 34.237 km, including underground line of 31.635 km, elevated line of 2.189 km and transition section of 0.413 km. The underground line is situated from Beihai Road to Longyue Road, comprising 27 stations; while the elevated line contains two stations. The average distance between stations is 1.2 km.
Meanwhile, the Xinlong Depot will be constructed on the north of State Highway 122 and the east of Changjiang Road, covering an area of about 38.08 hectares (including the reserved area for rail transit and the parking area of about 29.52 hectares), which connects with the Beihai Road Station.
