On June 16, the 2015 Food Safety Awareness Week was launched in Changzhou. Vice Mayor Zhang Yunyun attended the opening ceremony.
The celebration of Food Safety Awareness Week serves as a timely reminder to all concerned to observe hygienic preparation and handling of food. This year, the week-long activities include the founding meeting of the food and drug safety expert database, public open day of food inspection agencies, etc.
In addition, Changzhou will accelerate the improvement of food safety credit system and set up the "white- and black-listing system" for food production businesses in order to guarantee food safety.
