In the recently announced "China's top ten lithium industry parks with most investment value", Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park in Liyang is shown on the list.
In recent years, Jiangsu Zhongguancun Science and Technology Industrial Park has been focusing on establishing the new energy power battery industry cluster. On May 26th last year, the project of CATL lithium-ion battery Yangtze River Delta base was launched in the park. On March 31st this year, SAIC and CATL signed a cooperation agreement, and their new project with over 10 billion yuan investment was commenced on June 19th. At the same time, Jiangsu Zhongguancun, together with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, established the Tianmuhu Advanced Energy Storage Institute which has introduced a number of billion-level industry chain projects.
Up to now, the park has gathered a group of top-class enterprises in power battery, new energy and new energy vehicles.
